I’d like to start this week’s #FramingFriday Round Up with a quick bit of Framing Mentor news. If you’ve been watching the site this week you’ll know that it is now fully live! Our first four training courses are now up and available to purchase. To celebrate, we’re running a competition. We’ll be giving away a training course to one lucky winner. To be in with a chance of winning, just make sure that you’ve registered here on the site before Thursday 1st March.

Talking of registering, registration is now open for the Fine Art Trade Guild’s Meet Learn Celebrate event in May. It’s also time to nominate yourself for an award if you think you deserve one! There are a range of awards up for grabs, including best mount design, the framing challenge and innovation. Nominations close on April 2nd 2012.

Next Thursday, 1st March, Roma Moulding are holding an online meeting - and we’re all invited. The ’All Hands Meeting’ will be streamed live at 10.45 AM Eastern Time (3.45pm UK time).

Frame Express Picture Framers in Coventry, UK, are launching a monthly photo competition. Each month they’ll be inviting photographers to submit a photo via social media. The winner will receive custom framing for the photograph up to the value of £50. A great way to connect to new potential customers online and promote their services.
